Shining a light on Sierra Leone

Aminata Foundation

The Aminata Foundation was created to shine a light on women and children in Sierra Leone where they face one of the highest risks of maternal death in the world. From it’s inception, we have donated our time and work to support the founder, Aminata Conteh-Biger and her vision for Sierra Leone to have a healthy and productive population for women and children and to become a force for real change.

The identity highlights the mother with child, within an empathetic meaningful mark, that is both nurturing and brings positivity and a joyful spirit to the cause. The crafted A mark creates the feeling of the mother toward her baby, one of providing comfort and safety to the child within and the feeling of that deep connection. The foundation website informs the public with news and stories from the frontline and facilitates vital donations that propel the incredible efforts of the founder to bring this cause to global realisation.
