SML is excited to announce that our work has been honored in the Graphis International Design competition this year. We won GOLD for our Ensemble Offspring Identity and SILVER for our &CREW Identity. Based in New York City, Graphis presents and promotes the most compelling work of the year and our team is so proud to be included.
SML won two Bronze awards for our work for Ensemble Offspring for Logo and Website Design. Indigo is an International Design Competition based in Amsterdam in The Netherlands. The Indigo Design Award promotes creativity from around the world, highlighting projects that are unique in graphic design, digital, mobile and game design. We are proud of our work for EO and thrilled to be included.
It’s our seventh birthday this October and we want to mark the occasion and introduce our wonderful new Senior Designer – Lisa Park – to the SML team. The Seven series are designed by Lisa 🙂
Bar Machiavelli a brand new Italian restaurant has recently opened on Neild Avenue in Darlinghurst, Sydney. The core of the identity idea is the name and its meaning – for Machiavellian is principally about duplicity and duality. The logotype has a split personality and was designed to work seamlessly with the interior concept – its distinctive style, dramatic space, along with incredible food. Central in the restaurant is an enormous art wall of a male and female head to set the scene along with a rich palette of dark aubergine and red from which the brand palette derives.
