Redesigning the belle of the beach
Aquabelle is a series of boutique luxury holiday apartments on the beachfront in the Mornington Peninsula. Designed for an easy going luxury experience with an atmosphere that is casual, stylish and family friendly.
The identity consists of three water droplets that represent the three original apartments in the series that has grown to seven.
The newly launched website utilises drone video of beach scenes and throughout each individual apartment that are all uniquely styled. Their distinct aqua palette flows throughout the site and imagery, setting the tone for their easy beachside lifestyle and aesthetic. Aquabelle won Gold in the 2015 Victorian Tourism Awards and Bronze in the 2015 Australian Tourism Awards.
Aquabelle’s boutique holiday apartments offer a casual luxe experience with a unique proximity to the beachfront that had not been adequately captured on their website and materials. The area has become more competitive and they needed to set themselves apart to become a favoured destination. The shift in the travel and accommodation market due to Covid set some challenges to the business and required a new online approach moving forward
We created the Brand Identity to hero the beach lifestyle that Aquabelle offers. The mark and colour palette were refreshed with their signature aqua for standout simplicity. The new website features a series of drone videos that amplify the beach and coastal surroundings to highlight the close proximity they offer. Video tours throughout each of the customised apartments gives the viewer a complete overview and the ‘book’ button enables easy checking for availability and bookings directly on site
